Grabbed your attention with that title I hope... :) The flaunting is with regards to vocabulary choice. You should consider the lexical items (words) you include in your sentences, as they reflect your level of English and by extension, will have an effect on the grade of your essay. Take for instance someone who writes, 'an expensive watch' versus another who uses 'a Rolex watch that costs a bomb'. Not only did the latter (the second person) use an idiomatic phrase, he also included more details, in this case, the brand of the watch. As such, if you have the necessary vocabulary bank, you should use it to your advantage, flaunt it. ;)
